Seriously - watch the video with the link provided. I’m almost tearing up at how emotionally engaging & enlightening this is… especially the story towards the end.

I was being catcalled and a truck slammed into a vehicle, causing lots of damage, etc.
I think it’s safe to say they won’t be hollering at anyone anytime soon :)

Why would anyone who supports equal rights avoid the label ‘feminist’? The word comes with a laundry list of myths and misconceptions.
almost every one knows at least one woman who’s been raped or sexually assaulted, there have been numerous studies on the prevalence of sexual violence and assault, women have resorted to carrying pepper spray in their purses at all times and holding their car keys between their fingers like knives when they walk to their cars at night
and there are still fuckers who are trying to say that rape statistics are inflated and that feminists are making a whole big deal out of nothing
Edna St. Vincent Millay was the first woman to win a Pulitzer Prize for poetry. She was openly bisexual and had affairs with other women and married men. When she finally married, hers was an open marriage. Her 1920 poetry collection A Few Figs From Thistles drew controversy for its novel exploration of female sexuality. She was one of the earliest and strongest voices for what became known as feminism. One of the recurring themes of her poetry was that men might use her body, but not possess her or have any claim over her. (x)
